Ok, I just saw a trailer for this movie and... Title says it all. But in my surprise it held up a very decent question. If this is "another gay movie", how many of them can be. Tons of them, tons! And in many of them, "gayness" is the main theme. I mean, why??? Beautiful Thing/Get Real (the both are basically the same movie with different set of actors, writers and crew), it's about misfits teens, who falls in love with the jocks. That is a very good and deep theme, because when they will finish the school, they will find other gay friends and start normal and healthy life... and so on.
Why it's not enough to just have one or two gay characters, like in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World? Ou right... You feel discriminated, so you need to make thousands of movies with the same theme and hope that people will change... It's just stupid... Or you just want to attract gay viewers. Yes, it is just like: "Hey, let's call our all gay friends to watch a gay movie, I'm gay". Yeah... Will & Grace sucked.
People sexuality is not a main part of our lives. Don't create films just about "gayness", instead create films about love, witch happened to be between two guys, like in "I love you Philip Morris". I would still loved that movie even if it hadn't gay characters. Be creative and don't do anything just to stand out or look different(which you can't do).
