How not to write a story line

I recently read last numbers of "the amazing spider-man". Yeah it's going to be another "one more day" rant and a lesson how you shouldn't make a story line and the whole world concept.

I wonder what happend to the main story line? What could be happening next? Why they had made such a huge confusion? Why are they not avoiding time traveling if it's not the point of the story? When will they stop making so many paraller universes? Does it start to annoy people when the story doesn't go around traveling between dimensions? No. Now I will tell you the truth: nobody gives a crap about writing a good story more than about making money.

Seriously Wtf is this??? It's idiotic. And not only spider-man has the same problem. World of warcraft has the same idiotic thing, but in the different way. What the hell is "outland", another dimension? The hell? It's silly. If I want to play in the world I would want it to be one straight world, don't overcomplicate things. Keep it simple. Because often it gets ridiculous and hard to get.
So, if you want to write a normal sci-fi or fantasy flic try to avoid time/dimensions traveling if it is not the point of the story.
