There are a lot of folks who eventually will say what you are dumb if you tell what you believe in god. I'm not a religious person, but if no one is trying to brainwash you, you should shut the fuck up.
There is no proof what god exist or not. It's very simple - you believe in god or you don't. Thats all.
The first argument witch comes to religion haters is inquisition and religion wars. It's the same as blaming horror comics, books or video games. People kill other people, get over that. Mostly for money, but I don't blame capitalism for it... It is how it is. If you don't like it, try to change that, if you can't, accept it or you can allways commit a suicide.
Okey, I admit paganism is more fair religion. If you pray for food a week, you won't get it. But if you grow it you will get it out of the dirt, so nature is our godess.
But christianity has also good things, like morality. Yeah, those primitive god laws kept society from falling apart. If you don't believe in me, look through the window and you'll see that everything came out fine. How much do we have? Alot. And if you still think "this society is dumb, it's all the religions fault" think why the hell do you blame religion for it. It's the same thing as blaming Lil Wayne for ruining modern music or hating communism. There are no bad ideas, it's people who make them look bad. Read the bible, you will not find any part directy that would say: "kill muslims".
Of course there will always be religion fanatics. But you will never be able to change them, so don't try that. It's silly, you will argue over 2 hours and they won't listen to you. So try to avoid religion topic with them.
You can't blame anyone for believing in something you don't. Everybody believes in something. You can believe in nothing(that nothing exist), but you can't believe in nothing(not believe). You already believe in your friends, family, sience or in your self, and you even don't know why... So why do you think it's so wrong to believe in god? If god trully exist, I think he deserve my respect. Because look at the universe. It is genius. Just genius mechanism. Time, space, nature, life, laws of phisics and so on... It is magnificent.
